WeDo Hammocks was founded by two guys with over 50 years combined military service, and a geek (software engineer) who has over 20 years experience in the industry.
As three lifelong friends, we've got a collective passion for all outdoor activities and stumbled upon hammocks whilst looking for an ultra-light solution to being raised off the ground when sleeping outdoors in varying climates. Following explicit direction from our wives, hammocks quickly found their way into our gardens where they're used at every possible opportunity in a more relaxed environment - with and without cocktails!
With a keen interest in business, we used our collective knowledge, skills and experience and were able to work closely with industry leading hammock manufacturers to market their products in such a manner that we can provide our customers great offerings at the very best prices. And here we are, WeDo Hammocks...it’s what we do!!
Although a profit driven company, the main key driver of our business is our wholehearted passion to help others. Our likely over ambitious goal and vision is the creation of sufficient collaborative success to be in a position to contribute more effectively to causes that mean the most to us – those being to assist injured service personnel and those without shelter, both directly and via the charities we support.
